This year, we have seen the rise of a number of artists that have had a profound impact on the way we see our music and dance.

Cole & Lil Wayne – “Wrecking Ball”The year 2017 has seen a number in the form of big hits from artists like Lil Wayne, J.
Cole, and even the UK’s first rap superstar, Nicki Minaj.
While the UK saw a number five on the Billboard 200 chart, it was the US that grabbed headlines and was the second highest charting album in 2017.
Lil Wayne has a unique sound, and a unique brand of style.
He was an EDM artist before he was an MC.
His music has been hugely influential to millions, and his rise in popularity has been fuelled by his lyrics.
He is credited with inspiring many of the early electronic dance acts, and he has been credited with influencing many of hip-hop’s biggest names, including Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and Drake.
In 2017, LilWayne became the first artist to reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became the youngest artist ever to do so. 2.
Drake – “I’m Worth It”The song that was released by Drake’s label, Fergie Records, had been in the works for years and was one of the biggest singles of the year.
It peaked at number one on the UK chart and number five in the US.
The song was one that many felt was not a hit, but a must-listen for fans of the artist.
Nicki Max – “All I Do”The third NickiMax album, All I Do, peaked at Number 11 on the US Billboard 200 Chart, ahead of hits like Boyz n the Hood and You Don’t Know Me.
The album was released in November 2016 and went on to chart to number four on the Australian chart.
Max’s music has become one of EDMB and pop culture’s most influential artists.
The lyrics are simple and uplifting, and she is the perfect example of how young people can achieve great things.
Drake & Future – “Cocaine”In the lead-up to the release of Nicki’s new album, Future spoke to MTV News about his time on the road and the influence of Nick in his music.
“My album came out in the middle of the summer, and Nicki had been working on the record, so it was like, ‘Oh, that’s the album we should do.
We’re gonna do Nicki music.
It’s going to be a big album, and we’re gonna get that hit song.’
So we got together and did it,” Future said.
Nicky Jam – “The Way It Is”The first Nicki-produced track, The Way It is, went on the Top 40 on the Hot 100 in December 2017.
It was a collaboration between the UK hip-poppers Nicki and Lil Wayne that had originally been planned as a collaboration for the forthcoming Nicki miniseries.
Jam’s song “The Future” was one Nicki used to build up her following.
Lil Wayne & Lil Jon – “Bitch”Lil Jon was one the first artists to become an EDMB hit, and one of many artists who have made an impact through the use of the word ‘Bitch’.
The UK hip hop duo Lil Jon and Lil Jon’s “Bitty Bitty Bitch” went on top of both the UK and US Hot 100 charts.
Jon’s music was also hugely influential on artists such as Drake, who has used the song in his tracks since.
Ed Sheeran – “Ed Sheerans Voice”The debut album from Ed Sheers label, Blonde on Blonde, hit number one in the UK in April 2017.
The album became a hit for the British singer and her band, and featured the first single of the UK EDM star, Ed Shey.
Sheerans voice has been a key part of EDBM music, and many EDM artists have used her to showcase their songs.
